Your Role:



As Senior Baker, you will take responsibility for running our bakery section with precision, creativity, and care - specialising in sourdough, seedbread, ciabatta, croissants, pasteis, puff pastry etc. You will work alongside a team that includes both hearing and deaf staff, in an environment that celebrates communication, respect, and shared purpose.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage the day-to-day operations of the bakery section Prepare and produce a variety of breads and other baked goods on a daily basis Follow established recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain high standards Plan ahead to ensure smooth service, efficient prep, and sufficient stock levels Maintain consistency in taste and presentation Maintain a clean, organized, and well-run bakery section Support and collaborate with the Head Chef on ideas and improvements Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

You will thrive in this role if you :

Have a passion for baking and keen eye for detail Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Have a willingness to work in a collaborative, inclusive environment Are comfortable working within a diverse team and open to different styles of communication Are reliable, flexible, punctual, and a strong team player Have at least 5 consecutive years' experience in an ARTISANAL BAKERY setting Are confident running your own section and managing prep and service flow Possess strong planning, time management, and organisational skills Have the ability to work independently and take initiative within your section Hold yourself to high standards of quality and consistency, and presentation Want to be part of something that's about more than just food Aren't afraid to take direction when and where necessary Are able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Contract Details:



Permanent position Shift-based scheduling, Mon-Sun, 45hr week
