Job Advert Summary

Assist Bricklayer to ensure that allocated plants/facilities are kept in a presentable, safe and reliable standard as required by Rand Water with regards to the general preparation of plant, buildings, precast walling, paving, road patch, plastering, tiling, plastering, valve boxes, concrete slabs, building scaffolding, at all allocated Rand Water Sites.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 Special Training (Basic bricklaying/plastering) from Technical School/Collage Safety Training will be an advantage 1-2 Years relevant experience in bricklaying trade

Primary Duties

Provide Bricklayer with tools and equipment as requested Load, offloading of material and equipment, i.e. bricks, sand and stone onto dumper Assist with measuring up work to be performed and minor bricklaying/tiling work Organise gate pass out, cleaning workshop, work area, tool boxes, tools, cupboards, material storage where work is performed Check fuel and oil levels of dumpers and concrete mixers Assists Bricklayer to erect scaffolding

Knowledge of bricklaying tools. Ability to work on heights, confined spaces
