About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Advisor: External Communications

to join our dynamic team, leading external communications activities in support of RBM`s Strategic objectives.


The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in external communications, brand management, and strategic communication.


Reporting to the

Manager: Communications

you will be responsible for the following:

Newsroom Function Oversight


Reputation Management, including issues logging & reporting Social Listening & Community Management Media Relations Strategic media monitoring, analysis and reporting of RBM media activities Spokespersons Media Training High-level strategic copywriting for external and critical internal communications Enforcement of company External Communications Policies & Procedures.

Brand Management


Ensuring adherence to Rio Tinto's Brand Guidelines for all communications materials and collateral Managing above-the-line and below-the-line advertising initiatives. Overseeing the end-to-end production and distribution of key company reports Events planning and management of strategic company events

What you'll bring

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or
