We invite suitable candidates to apply for the Senior Accountant position based in Port Elizabeth.
Accounting work:

Customer support:

Monthly and annual working papers
Annual financial statements - Compilation and sign off
Independent reviews
Cash-flows and budgets prepared and reviewed and commentary submitted
Tax planning, prov tax planning, review of group taxes and tax efficiency
Business structures consulting, review of, planning of and implementation of. Will require very good knowledge of;
Taxes xe2x80x93 business, individual, VAT, estate, payroll, trusts
Business structuring (entity types, best practices and case use
Estate planning
Commerical contracts and legal compliance

General Admin:

Management of team members (bookkeepers)
Timesheets, work planning, review of task status, create and maintain workflows, reporting Quotes to clients and client onboarding

Requirements:

BCom Degree, SAPIA, or similar qualification
5 plus years post articles experience in accounting/bookkeeping/managing finance team
Proficient in the following programs;
- Xero or Sage or Other
- Draftworx/Caseware
- Excel (advanced), Outlook, Word

*Position will be office based*
