Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Chartered Accountant (South Africa) - CA(SA) designation is mandatory
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably within the renewable energy industry
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector
• Proficient in financial modeling and analysis
• Excellent proficiency in relevant accounting software
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting functions
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Conduct financial modeling for renewable energy projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Manage the financial aspects of renewable energy projects, including cost tracking and budget adherence
• Conduct regular audits and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide support during external audits and regulatory inspections
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
