Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Johannesburg - Northern Suburbs

Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, contributing to the success and growth of the organization. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a Fixed Asset register: Oversee the updating, reconciliation, and management of the Fixed Asset register.
• Budget Preparation: Contribute to the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
• Revenue Reconciliations: Skilfully handle revenue reconciliations to provide accurate financial insights.
• Annual Financial Statements: Play a key role in the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Tax Calculations: Execute tax calculations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Audit Preparation: Prepare and coordinate audit activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience as an Accountant in commerce.
• Solid knowledge of statutory requirements and VAT in the ICT industry.
• Previous experience in the ICT sector (not financial services) is highly preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
