Senior Accountant Randburg Johannesburg Gauteng

Our Client an Accounting Tax firm in Randburg Johannesburg is looking for a Senior Accountant with 3 xe2x80x93 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in full accounting and statutory calculations and submissions and managing clients xe2x80x99 portfolios. Managing and overseeing other staff and or clerks. Experience in QuickBooks, SAGE, Pastel, XERO, Caseware, Excel, and SARS experience is essential. Must be able to deal with all TAX and AFS-related matters

Must be a registered TAX practitioner.

Salary R 600 000 xe2x80x93 R 800 000 per year

Min Requirements

• Matric with relevant financial qualification
• 5 ++ yearxe2x80x99s experience as a Senior Accountant within a Accounting Firm xe2x80x93 essential
• SAIPA/ SAICA Qualification beneficial
• Must have proper CaseWare experience Essential
• Payroll and Statutory experience xe2x80x93 SARS
• Staff management experience essential

Responsibilities

• Full Accounting function for a set of clients / portfolios
• Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
• Maintaining the general ledger system
• Financial Statements are to be set up on Caseware
• Monitor that all accounting is up to date and report back toFinancial Manager
• Review all work done weekly, monthly, and Yearly.
• All Statutory due dates are to be met.
• Clients Processing their Accounting must be reviewed in detail.
• Tax Compliance must be in place.
• Manage & Control over accountants to be done
• EnsureFinancial Manager is informed on the clients and which clients are not sending information.
• All outstanding AFS must be implemented immediately to sort.
