The company's strategy involves acquiring properties in strategic locations, managing them efficiently, and maintaining high occupancy rates and they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team and focus on ensuring that all creditorsxe2x80x99 transactions are accurately processed, and all functions are fulfilled within set deadlines. Duties:

• Ensure that unreconciling entries and adhoc cashbook entries are resolved
• Matching of all reconciling items
• Review all accounting entries in Income statement for the month for accuracy and completeness
• Identify any outstanding expenses and raise accruals
• Assist creditors clerks and utilities clerk with any queries
• Review supplier age analysis on a monthly basis
• Support and train creditors clerks
• Loading payments in the bank
• Ensure that monthly bank account reconciliations are done by the 1st of each month

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting

Experience:

• 3 -5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Administration or Finance or similar
• Must come from a property or real estate background
• Strong excel skills
• WORKED ON MDA A MUST!!!!

Skills & Competencies:

• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
