Key Responsibilities:

Conduct financial analysis and identify discrepancies, anomalies, and inconsistencies in financial data.
Reconcile accounts, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cashflow statements.
Analyse large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends to support business decisions.
Interpret data to identify areas of current or potential risk.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Utilise financial software and Excel to perform advanced data analysis.
Provide support for external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

Requirements:

BCom Accounting degree, or similar qualification
BCom Accounting Honours, or similar qualification preferred.
Registered CA (SA) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role with a strong focus on data analysis.
Skills and experience in company operations is beneficial.
Experience working with financial reporting and data accuracy.
Exposure to financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
Experience in working with large datasets and data validation.
