Job Description


As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial records for our company. In addition to the existing responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential in supporting the smooth operation of our finance department. Responsibilities: Receipt Management:

  • Proactively contact colleagues through messages and calls to obtain all missing receipts.
  • Engage with vendors and companies through Skype or other communication channels to obtain copies of company receipts.
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of all receipts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
Expense Management:
  • Review and reconcile expenses related to handymen and cleaners, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Upload and maintain workers' expenses and invoices on the shared drive for easy access and documentation.
Financial Data Verification:
  • Verify and archive PrePay Power and Gas tracking consumption data, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reconciliation.
Financial Data & Budgeting Audit:
  • Thorough examination of the companyxe2x80x99s financial records, transactions, and statements, providing assurance that the financial statements fairly represent the companyxe2x80x99s financial performance and position, and ensuring that the companyxe2x80x99s financial processes are robust and reliable.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Support:
  • Assist in processing accounts payable invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile outstanding balances and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable activities.
Financial Reporting Assistance:
  • Collaborate with the finance team to gather and organize data for financial reporting purposes.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, schedules, and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong background in financial tasks such as outstanding balances, reconciliations, payrolls, calculations, banks, and bank statements.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in speaking with people and effectively managing conversations to obtain necessary information.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including the ability to create and work with spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Knowledge of real estate investment and property management is a plus.
