GMSL Group (Pty) Ltd started in 2018, based on a need in the fuel industry for a single turn-key solution to operational and asset - procurement, maintenance and training.

With more than 10 years' experience in the transportation and fuel industry.

Job description:

We are looking for a highly adaptable and driven Semi-Skilled All-Rounder to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in diverse workshop tasks and the flexibility to assist across multiple departments as required. A strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding steel components.

Prepare equipment and materials for repairs and fabrication.

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Follow strict occupational health and safety guidelines.

Clean and maintain the workspace, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Report any defects or irregularities in tools, equipment, or workspaces.

Operate basic workshop machinery and tools.

Assist in assembly, fabrication, and general production tasks.

Load and unload materials for production.

Support team members in different workshop functions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Nationality: South African citizen.

Education: National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment.

Technical Skills: Ability to use hand and power tools, basic welding knowledge, and mechanical aptitude.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with supervisors, team members.

Physical Requirements: Physically fit, able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.

Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors. Willingness to learn and take on various responsibilities.

A valid driver's license may be beneficial.
