RPO Recruitmentxe2x80x99s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Seismic Technician in Limpopo
Responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining seismic monitoring system.
- Installation of monitoring instrument as per project schedule.
- Provide on-the-job training on seismic rating to underground personnel.
- Ensuring all relevant procedures are maintained and updated.
- Commissioning of the monitoring instruments.
- Processing of seismic data, producing high quality seismic activity plans across sections for reporting and presentations.
- Utilizing database information and software tools to manipulate and analyse data related to seismic activity.
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Mining Engineering/Geology
- Strata Control Certificate
- 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in seismic data processing
- 4 yearsxe2x80x99 seismic installation and instrumentation experience
- Salary: R550K/yr - R750K/yr, negotiable
