R HIGHLY NEGOTIABLE PLUS ANNUAL PERFORMANCE BONUS

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the private client HNW segment of a very well known brand for a segment lead marketing manager, to drive, support and implement the marketing strategy and plan to support the business in realising its growth ambitions. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, outcomes based seasoned marketer with exposure to building brands and businesses. You need to be very well versed in the Private client space - and be able to target specific marketing events/briefs etc for this target market. You need to be comfortable in public - wrt public speaking; introducing speakers etc at events and being present at many of these events, nationally as the spokesperson for the brand.

This role is suitable for appropriately qualified affirmative action candidates. You will work with the MD and the Marketing Director to ensure this market segment is celebrated and the focus is squarely on their particular needs. This role is based in CT but will have national travel - you also hopefully have a good network in Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • You will be required to set and implement both marketing and brand objectives in line with business objectives to increase awareness of the brand proposition into the ultra high net worth target audience;
  • You will be responsible for strategic marketing and plan across the private clients, working closely with the managing director and marketing executive;
  • You will be responsible for management of sponsorship portfolio and constantly seeking out opportunities for properties that will enhance awareness among the target audience;
  • You will be responsible for corporate identity, ensuring all touch points build the brand story, interacting with group brand office;
  • You will be responsible for event management, inclusive of attendance and speaking to media and / or audiences;
  • You will be responsible for website management and metrics reporting in collaboration with group digital channels;
  • You will be responsible for media relations particularly with regards to paid and unpaid media channels;
  • You will be responsible for digital transformation across the business;
  • You will be responsible for working with specialist agencies and vendor management;
  • You will be required to monitor marketing business environment and competitor activities and offerings;
  • You will be responsible for annual marketing budget management and ongoing spend allocation and control;
  • You will be responsible for working closely with Investor relations to maintain quality across all internal and external (regular and crisis) communications including important adviser, portfolio manager and end-client stakeholder communications;
  • You will be required to take responsibility for end-to-end client experience;
  • You will be required to work closely with leadership and portfolio managers;
  • You will be responsible for proactively integrating marketing intelligence with global trends to facilitate solutions to assist the business in achieving business plans;
  • You will be required to commission and compile research briefs as and when necessary.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • You have a B.Bus Sc/MBA/
  • You have a minimum of 6 years current, relevant experience in financial services - this is essential, (wealth management -is preferred);
  • You have relevant knowledge, skills and experience in a senior marketing role to join this team and spearhead this segment to new heights;
  • You have project management experience; and have managed a brand from start to finish and ideally with a focus on sponsorships/events/pr etc;
  • You are commercially minded;
  • You have knowledge of investments and the financial services industry. You are articulate; well presented; smart and skilled.
This is a new role as the business is now focussing significant resources on their HNW segment. You will be an asset to their business and they will reward you for this with great bonuses and exposure.
