Security Training Officer

Job Description
Purpose of the role:
The successful candidate shall be overseeing all staff's training, retraining, and reporting on the security officers' capabilities and weaknesses for operations at Ikwezi and Buffalo Coal's operations situated in the Dundee, Dannhauser, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the rendering of security service delivery in line with SOPs. Ensuring compliance and that all security officers meet contractual requirements as stipulated by the organisation. Identification and rectification of service shortcomings and advising on solutions to remedy these. Constantly evaluating the service levels provided by the officers at all our mining operations and making rectifications and training until understood, to improve service delivery. General management and supervision of security staff and operations. Oversee the inspections of K9s and firearms. Assist with investigations and information gathering. Upholding of master compliance files and ensuring document levels are upheld at all sites. Conducting basic monthly audits on all activities at the access points. Be the safety representative for the security department, ensuring that all safety aspects are complied with.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have PSIRA Security grades. Must be computer literate (Microsoft Tools). 3 years of security experience. Able to communicate well. Detail-oriented. Facilitation/ training skills. Must have a passion for teaching. For more information please contact:
