Soteria Security is looking to hire a Security Technician for a full-time position based in Midrand. The Security Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various security systems such as access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection. The Security Technician will also provide technical support to customers, identify security challenges and develop solutions. Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of various security systems such as access control, CCTV, alarms, gate and garage motors, intercom systems.
- Understanding of network infrastructure, IP addressing, and VLANs
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose security system issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to the office to collect the company vehicle
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certifications in security systems, network infrastructure, or related fields are a plus.
