Daily inspection of security equipment and arrange for repairs or calibration where needed
Maintain security standards
Conduct weekly searches and locker searches
CCTV reviews
Training of security staff

Incident/accident investigations
Liaise with clients and external role players
Deployment of security staff
Organise and supervise Security escort drivers for high value loads or upon request
Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems to Management
Conduct site investigation and report on findings
Oversee asset protection of both customers and staff as well as prevent theft and inventory/stock loss
Respond to bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms by following emergency response procedures
Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches and coordinate appropriate response
Conduct regular risk assessments together with Management
Liaise with other departments and communicate the weekend schedules to Management and the relevant departments
Compile the daily load dispatch document and send to Management and to the Finance Department
Compile the daily attendance report and send to Management and Human Resources
QUALIFYING CRITERIA
A minimum Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
5 years supervisory experience in the Security Sector
Computer literate - full Microsoft suite and CCTV programs
Report writing skills
Investigative skills
Drivers license and own, reliable transport is essential
PSIRA Grade A registered
