Security Controller
Job Description
Monitor CCTV, alarm systems and other security technology infrastructure.
Coordinate and dispatch security personnel to incidents in real-time and liaise with emergency services when required.
Maintain accurate logs of all incidents, patrols and security activity and generate daily reports and incident documentation.
Conduct regular radio checks with field security personnel.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures.
Monitor & track guard patrol systems and operate access control systems for secured facilities.
SA Citizen with a Clean Criminal Record - not negotiable.
Matric / Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
PSIRA Grade A or B registration (valid).
Knowledge of security systems and monitoring equipment.
3+ years experience in security control room operations.
Experience with CCTV monitoring and alarm response coordination.
Control room management certification.
Valid competency certificate for firearms.
Valid driver's license.
Dog-handling certification or experience.
