Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced

Security Contract Manager

to oversee security operations within the hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property while maintaining compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor the security service contracts within the hospitality environment

Ensure security operations align with guest experience standards and brand requirements.

Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of contracted security staff.

Oversee incident management and reporting, ensuring swift resolution.

Manage on site security team.

Manage the operations linking the control room, guarding and rapid response functions.

Train and guide on-site security team to maintain a welcoming yet secure atmosphere.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.

Maintaining and managing relationship with on site client.

Attend Regular security meetings.

Keep abreast with news and security trends as well as various ad hoc duties.

Qualifications

Valid PSIRA Grade A certificate

Matric certificate/ Grade 12 Equivalent

Security Management certificate / Diploma or a relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.

Valid Driver's Licence and Own reliable transport, including weekend and after-hour visits and audits

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in hospitality environment.

Minimum 5 years previous Security Management and management of people experience

Computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft office (Word/Excel /Outlook/ PowerPoint )

Relationship Management skills

Management of staff

Planning, organising and prioritising

Time Management

Management and Leadership capability

Communication (verbal and written in English and Afrikaans)

Report writing

Incident Management

Investigation skills

Quality Audit skills (ISO procedures)

A sound understanding of security technology

Management of Security Service Level Agreements with clients to ensure compliance.
