Summary
Company based in Cape Town is looking for a Security Platform Manager to join their team.
Full time, permanent position on-site.
At least 5 years experience in Security Operations, Monitoring and Platform Management.
Description
You will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, operation and optimisation of the organisation's Cybersecurity tools and platforms.
Manage a small team of Linux / DevOps Engineers.
Platform Management and Administration.
Deploy, configure and maintain platforms such as SIEM (Splunk or ArcSight), Endpoint Detection and Response tools such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne.
Ensure platform availability, performance and scalability.
Security monitoring and Incident response.
Coordinate with SOC teams.
Ensure platforms comply with regulations.
Automate Security workflows.
Firewall, IDS/IPS and network security management.
Scripting for automation.
Security Frameworks and standards: NIST, Iso 27001, CIS controls.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant IT Degree of Diploma.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP desirable.
5-10 years experience in Cybersecurity or IT with experience in Security Operations, Monitoring and Platform Management.
3-5 years experience in a similar role.
