Job Description
A great mining company in Steelpoort, Limpopo is seeking the expertise of a Section Manager to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Improvement of SHEQ management systems
- Review current standards and implement changes
- Produce required business planned raw materials, & PGM Platinum Group Metals of the mine on time
- Ensure that the correct quality & quantity output in a cost effective & safe way through motivated workforce
- Accurately forecast & control mining & scheduling of mining and shutdown work according to the defined mining & engineering requirements
- Assist in the control, management and direction of the underground working of the mine
- Overseeing and evaluation of in-house projects
- Grade 12
- Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering.
- Mine Managers Certificate of Competency.
- 5 - 7 years experience in an underground mining environment
- Minimum 2 years at Manager level
