Job Description
Job Summary Qualifications: o B Eng / BSc / BTech / National Diploma discipline, National Certificate - NTC 6 Engineering (with relevant Trade Certification) in Mechanical or Electrical o Completed Government Certificate of Competence, Mines and Works (GCC). o Completed or in the process of completing a postgraduate qualification (Honours, Masters, MDP, etc.) would be advantageous Required Experience: o A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Section Engineer (Legal Appointee) of which 3 years in a UG TMM environment, preferably in an operation that utilises caving and/or long hole drilling methods. o Must have good cognitive and analytical abilities. o Project management experience would be highly advantageous. o Experience in the in Underground Large Excavation TMM equipment and technology would be advantageous. o Experience managing a large contractor mining operation will be advantageous. o Operational readiness implementation experience will be advantageous.
