Restaurant Runners (x3)

Stellenbosch | on-site

Paid monthly| Fixed-term contract

As our Restaurant Runner, you will be responsible for quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to customers at the restaurant. Working in the Restaurant Department, you will assist the kitchen and service staff maintain a clean environment and the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimise our guests' dining experience.

Along with relevant experience in similar establishments, you can work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. With a passion for hospitality, you have excellent attendance, a performance track record, and references. You are well-spoken and presented, show initiative and innovation, and are prepared to go the extra mile to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The position's key responsibilities include demonstrating reliability and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. The role also requires exceptional planning and organising skills, a drive for results, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to maintain composure under high-stress situations.

Communication skills are indispensable, with proficiency in English being a prerequisite, and fluency in an additional language considered an advantage. The role calls for interpersonal sensitivity and a customer-focused approach, fostering team collaboration. Building and maintaining working relationships is crucial, as is self-discipline and an enthusiastic willingness to learn.
