This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a small, aggressive team and have a direct, measurable impact on the company's growth and revenue from day one.
Mission & Impact
This is a crucial, high-impact role responsible for fueling our revenue engine. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact with prospective business owners, focused on generating high-quality leads and converting them into successful funding applications. Your resilience and proactive, organized approach will be essential to achieving our ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities
As a high-volume Sales Development Representative, you will:
Execute High-Volume Outreach: Consistently conduct 250-400 calls daily to business owners, utilizing a mix of cold calling and warm leads to qualify and convert prospects.
Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and organize your sales pipeline within a CRM, transitioning leads efficiently through all qualification stages and performing necessary administrative updates.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align on outbound campaigns and promptly follow up on positive buy signals.
Reporting & Review: Maintain meticulous pipeline reporting and actively participate in regular sales performance reviews to discuss metrics and strategy.
Process Improvement: Provide valuable feedback to leadership to continuously improve sales processes and training materials.
Must-Have Qualifications
Proven High-Volume Sales Experience: Demonstrable success in an outbound, high-call-volume sales environment, preferably within the financial services or a related B2B sector.
Cold Calling Mastery: Strong understanding and proven ability in lead generation, qualification, and overcoming objections during high-volume cold calling.
Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with a pleasant and clear accent (South African preference is a significant advantage).
Resilience & Motivation: Documented ability to handle high rates of rejection while remaining motivated and focused in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Industry Experience: Prior experience in Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) or within an Independent Sales Organization (ISO).
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with modern sales software and proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline and lead management.
Location: Candidates based in South Africa are highly preferred.

Overall revenue generated from closed sales within your pipeline.
