As a pivotal member of our sales team, the Onboarding Sales Agent is the first and most critical point of contact for our future clients. You will be responsible for converting interested leads into actively trading clients by providing an exceptional, educational, and seamless onboarding journey.
This role combines salesmanship with client education and relationship building, requiring a proactive, target-driven individual passionate about finance and client success in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
A. Lead Conversion & Sales Execution
Contact and qualify inbound leads, establishing rapport and assessing eligibility for trading.
Guide potential clients through the end-to-end onboarding process, from registration to securing their First Time Deposit (FTD).
Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly FTD targets through persuasive communication and effective negotiation.
Utilize the dialer system to achieve required call volume and talk time metrics.
B. Client Education & Onboarding
Act as a product expert, educating clients on our trading platform, CFD products, and the advantages of trading with us.
Clearly explain account setup, verification, and funding processes, mitigating client concerns and perceived risks.
Ensure a successful handover to the Account Management team by capturing client goals and providing a clear profile.
C. Client Relationship & Problem Solving
Build trust through empathetic and professional communication, actively listening to client needs.
Proactively address client questions, concerns, and technical issues during onboarding, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Gather and relay client feedback to internal teams to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
D. Compliance, Risk & Administration
Adhere strictly to company compliance, risk management, and KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures during client qualification.
Maintain impeccable and accurate records of all client interactions and onboarding documentation in the CRM.
Prepare regular reports on onboarding metrics, conversion rates, and challenges.
E. Shifts
Willingness to work shifts covering a 24/5, including weekdays (Monday - Friday), weekends, and public holidays as business requires.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Matric or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a high-performance sales, telesales, or call centre environment (specify "telesales").
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build quick rapport.
Strong closing ability and experience in consultative sales or conversion-focused roles.
Results-driven with a demonstrable history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent problem-solving skills and resilience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
High level of computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills for accurate reporting.
ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE:
1+ year of experience with online trading platforms, CFDs, or the financial services industry.
Formal understanding of financial markets, risk management principles, or KYC procedures.
Experience using sales dialer software and specific trading/platform CRM systems.
