Scrum Manager
Job Description
Responsible for creating and structuring project teams, integrating them into the R+ D department, and providing a clear vision of the product.
Facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and internal teams.
Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and drive a culture of agility and learning.
Distribute weekly updates against deliverables, resourcing availability, and target dates.
Host daily team meetings to get updates on the progress of projects, address potential roadblocks, and ensure that projects are on track.
Ensure that teams are meeting deadlines with the desired outcome.
Ensure that teams are adequately trained to understand Agile processes and that team members know their specific roles and are dedicated to the project.
Ensure that all team members, even those working remotely can attend and participate in meetings.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar senior role within an AGILE environment.
Must be certified SAFe 5, Scrum Master
Proficient in Microsoft packages, Power BI, and Office, and ticketing software.
Ability to manage multiple projects to completion and meet deadlines.
Qualification:
BEng/BSc/BTech Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent technical degree.
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
