About the Role
We are seeking a
proactive, organised, and capable School Operations Coordinator / Academic Manager
to assist the
Academic Registrar (Director)
in managing the daily operations, staff coordination, and academic administration of the school.
This is a
hands-on leadership role
-- ideal for someone with strong people skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small, dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate daily school operations, staff schedules, and learner administration.
Support the Academic Registrar in implementing academic and operational policies.
Supervise staff performance, attendance, and communication across departments.
Liaise with parents, teachers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Manage procurement, logistics, and event coordination (e.g. enrolment, open days).
Assist with compliance documentation for WCED, Umalusi, and accreditation bodies.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and minutes of meetings.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
in
Education
,
Business Administration
, or related field.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
Own laptop and computer literacy (Microsoft Office / Google Workspace).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional, mature, and reliable work ethic.
Available to start immediately.
Preferred Attributes
Prior experience in
school management, coordination, or office administration.
Confident and calm under pressure.
Ability to work closely with senior leadership while exercising discretion and good judgment.

Pay: R15000,00 - R20000,00 per month
