Job Description

A next-generation Digital Transformation-as-a-Service (DTAAS), are looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect. They deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions including development, integration, administration, analytics, release management, and support across South Africa, India, Botswana, Uganda, and Mauritius, empowering businesses with bespoke, outcomes-focused digital transformation services.
Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure Salesforce architectures and solution roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Oversee configuration, custom development (Apex, LWC, Visualforce), and integrations (APIs, Mulesoft).
• Manage data modeling, migration, and system health.
• Lead workshops, mentor delivery teams, and enforce best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
• Support go-live and post-deployment optimization.

Non-negotiable

• Strong use of declarative tools and custom development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce).
• Deep understanding of integration architecture (APIs, middleware like Mulesoft, web services).
• Strong grasp of data modeling, security, and performance optimization.
• Project Experience: Leading Salesforce projects in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Certifications (at least some are expected, especially for credibility): Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201), Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Application or System Architect (CTA is a bonus).

Minimum Requirement

• 5+ years in Salesforce architecture/solution design.
• Strong experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Expertise in integrations, security, and performance optimization.
• Skilled in Agile/DevOps delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Preferred certifications: Application/System Architect, Salesforce Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant (CTA advantageous).
