Sales Representative Required - Atlantis Cape Town - R15 000 Per Month

Remuneration: R15 000 includes a Vehicle allowance, cell phone allowance, fuel allowance and vehicle maintenance allowance.

To grow and maintain Company outlying customer base.
To call on local existing customers and find new customers
To promote existing and new products as well as specials
To see a minimum of 8 stores per day
To merchandise at stores and provide info regarding opposition activities and products
To assess each customer's specific needs and fulfil those requirements
To address any issues or concerns customers may have
To demonstrate products and explain the difference between our products and competitor products
To constantly search for new business, in order to assist in the growth of the company
Get leads from customers and follow up on them
Arrange demo days with customers for marketing purposes
Do quotations and follow up on them within a required period
When advised of deliveries in certain areas, follow up with other customers in those areas to increase the amount of sales being delivered to that particular area
Arrange customer appointments in advance before making calls
Report weekly call plan to the Branch Manager one week in advance
Report on any changes in the call plan
Report on any queries or complaints customers might have
Report orders obtained when out on customer calls
Complete customer call sheets (with each individual customer)
Ensure he is on the road seeing customers at least 80% of the week, the rest of the time is spent planning the week, follow-up, quotes, etc.
Ensure a FULL Day's work every day.
Weekly reporting to the Manager using the customer call sheets provided
Follow up on web leads
Liaise with the sales admin regarding appointments or demos that may need to be held
Assist with deliveries, where required
Work overtime where required
Requirements:
3 Years of Sales experience
Own car
Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior big company executives. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Well-presented and business-like. Keen for new experience, responsibility, and accountability. Able to get on with others and be a team player.
Personal Situation: Must be mature and domestically secure. Able to spend one or two nights away per month. Able to commute reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Must have a clean or near clean driving license.
Specific Job Skills: Able to communicate and motivate via written media. Understands the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling, cost per response, cost per conversion, etc. Appreciates the need for consistency within the company's branding and marketing mix, especially PR and the Internet. Experience in managing marketing agency activities useful.
Computer skills: Must be adept in the use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet, and email.
Must be a very competent writer of business letters, quotations, and proposals.
Business and Selling Skills: Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts customers large contracts or even a business, particularly achieving genuine sales development. Ideal background in retail sales and merchandising would be particularly helpful. Experience of tenders would also be useful.
