Represent our company's products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
Generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
Responsibilities:
Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling
Prepare professional proposals
Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
To maximize the sales of PDS category products (Service, spares, locks, access control etc) through identifying opportunities to expand category sales
Distribute marketing & PDS material
To sell spares and service to existing operator clients
To sell SLA contracts on existing operators in the market
To sell new equipment to existing clients as well as upgrade kits
To promote and always sell ASSA ABLOY products
Any other activities and new initiatives which enhance the development & growth of the PDS
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 (matric)
Valid Driver's license
Own vehicle
Computer literacy (outlook and excel)
Good knowledge of the geographical area
Good knowledge of PDS systems and operators would be an advantage
Technical acumen (Basic networking knowledge, understanding of jargon & comfortable with installation & set-up of programs / Apps e.g., pairing devices with IP settings)
Solid sales background
