We are seeking motivated Sales Representatives to join a leading industrial equipment company, specialising in Backhoe Loaders / Backhoe Tractors. This is a hands-on sales role, offering the opportunity to build relationships with customers, promote high-quality equipment, and achieve measurable results in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities
Market and sell a range of heavy machinery, including Backhoe equipment.
Develop and maintain profitable customer relationships to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
Work closely with customers to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Assist in proposals, quotes, and customer finance facilitation.
Inspect machinery prior to delivery and ensure proper documentation, including warranties.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer experience, including aftersales support.
Travel to customer sites as required and maintain regular reporting on sales activity.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years' overall sales experience, including at least 3-5 years preferably in industrial or heavy machinery with a focus on backhoe equipment.
Strong technical knowledge of machinery applications, GET, and undercarriage.
Valid driver's license.
