About the Role
This internship supports sales operations and business development initiatives across Africa and the wider EMEA region. You will collaborate with colleagues, territory managers and stakeholders across multiple countries, gaining hands-on experience in how a dynamic, international organization operates day-to-day. This internship would be ideal for a hardworking, positive, and proactive self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and collaborates effectively with global teams to deliver meaningful business results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development (50%)
Help plan and execute outbound campaigns in priority markets across Africa and the wider EMEA region; support ongoing initiatives including trade shows and webinars.
Make cold calls and follow-up calls to customers to maximize campaign outcomes; log all customer interactions accurately to support reporting and insights.
Territory Action Plans (25%)
Drive the creation of Territory Action Plans (TAPs) for African territories; analyze territories and customer segments to identify growth opportunities and possible challenges. Contribute ideas to support growth of key accounts, distributors, and strategic channels.
Document findings clearly to support decision-making and team follow-up; collaborate with relevant teams to ensure TAP insights translate to measurable action plans, feeding into training, outreach campaigns, and process improvements initiatives.
Data Quality & CRM Management (25%)
Maintain and clean customer data across CRM and other business tools
Support regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
Transfer data between systems such as Outreach and CRM; manage subscription and consent data
Skills & Profile
Comfortable working with international teams across different regions
Proactive, self-starting mindset with a strong sense of responsibility; able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Minimum Job Requirements:
Matric Grade 12 with a Bachelor's degree / National Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce,
Marketing, Sales Management, or Business Management
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Good organizational and administration skills.
Requires full professional fluency in English; any additional language is a plus
Confident using digital tools such as CRM, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
Positive, curious, and motivated to learn
