Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Job Description
Cape Fynbos, a Wines and Spirits merchant situated in Paarl, was founded in 2010. Its express aim is to showcase to an international wine consuming audience the creative energy present in the modern South African wine industry, both in terms of design style and winemaking innovation.
The company currently requires the services of a dynamic, self-driven person with proven marketing experience in the South African wine market. The incumbent will primarily be responsible for driving sales to ensure a competitive advantage for Cape Fynbos.
Other responsibilities will include the following:
- Sales and marketing in accordance with annual sales budget
- Key account management
- Coordinate current and new South African distributors
- Research, monitor and analyse market trends
- Increase sales through sustainable price realisations and excellent customer service
- Retain existing client base and recruit new customers
- Costing and budgeting
- Detail reporting on a monthly basis
- Quality control
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing / Sales
- 5-10 yearsxe2x80x99 proven sales experience, preferably in the SA wine market
- A confident, motivated and energetic personality
- Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- High levels of emotional intelligence
- Strategic and analytical thinking
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
- Willingness to travel regularly on a national basis
- Very good social media and computer skills (MS Office)
