Job Description

An innovative and fast-growing FMCG detergent manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and drive our sales growth across multiple platforms--digital, B2B, and B2C. This is a key leadership role focused on expanding market share, driving revenue, and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth across all sales channels: wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and direct to end-user. Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performance team of sales representatives. Expand product presence by securing listings in supermarkets, retailers, and platforms such as Takealot. Identify new markets, break barriers to entry, and establish strong customer relationships. Oversee and manage the entire tendering process, including bid submissions and contract management. Forecast and report on sales performance using Microsoft Excel dashboards and data analytics. Collaborate with marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless sales execution. Maintain strong business development momentum through client engagement and solution selling.
Requirements:

Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years' experience in sales management or business development, preferably in the FMCG or detergent/chemical industry. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and expanding customer base. Expertise in Pastel Accounting Software (SAGE). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including dashboard creation, sales forecasting, and reporting. Strong knowledge of digital sales, B2B and B2C environments. Solid understanding of the tendering process and retail listing requirements. Short sales-related courses or certifications will be an added advantage. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
