Job Description
Job Purpose:
Managing the staff in the parts department, overseeing the order process for replacement parts and boosting sales of parts. Achieving predetermined Quantitative objectives i.e. gross sales targets and GP targets and Qualitative objectives i.e. marketing & business strategies.Position available for a Sales Manager with extensive Automotive parts and spares knowledge.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Matric Certificate (with maths literacy minimum). Additional related courses/qualifications and advantage.
- At least 5 - 8 years experience in a similar management role within the motor industry
- Sound Technical knowledge and understanding
- Experience in motor part and in truck part sales
- Understanding of procurement
- Understanding of ISO 9001/ 45001 or relevant quality management system
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Sales and customer interaction experience
- Provide superior customer service levels that exceed customer expectations while staying in line with Company policies and procedures
- Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly targets are being met
- Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/ applicable laws
- Interacting with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback
- Resolving customer problems and queries as needed
- Management of daily sales figures
- Lead, develop and implement variable cost programmes across all areas of responsibility.
- Implement a customer focused operational culture delivering superior customer service levels.
