Responsibilities:

  • Secure new business within the distribution market for the allocated region.
  • Develop and manage a qualified pipeline of leads and convert them into sustainable billing clients.
  • Maintain and grow strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensure accurate monthly billing, financial reporting and weekly sales analysis to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Assist in tender preparation, proposals and presentations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively across departments and identify cross-silo solutions.
  • Maintain client files and update internal CRM systems according to company procedures and Quality Management Systems.
  • Ensure debtor days are within company requirements for signed clients.
  • Meet the expected client call ratio KPI as indicated by your Manager.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years new business sales experience in the transport and logistics industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed new business sales targets.
  • Experience in prospecting, pipeline management, and tender processes.
  • Experience in selling cross-silo solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Matric.
