Job Description


The strategic Sales Executive will report into the CEO of an established steel manufacturing and distribution business and be responsible for sales leadership and the sales team, across the branches in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban.
The Sales Exec will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to penetrate the market, increase revenue, and expand the companys market share.
  • Ensure effective CRM implementation, moving the sales process away from manual processes.
  • Lead, develop and manage a large sales team in Durban and Johannesburg.
  • Foster a deep understanding of the products and services to effectively position the business to meet customer needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with end-users, understanding their needs, and creating tailored solutions to meet those needs
  • Oversee the pipeline management and ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting on sales metrics.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet targets and optimize performance
This role will suit a strong sales leader with a background in steel or the manufacturing industry. Someone who can manage a high pressured environment, in a fast moving industry. A leader who can develop and create structure to leverage the strengths of the sales team for superior performance. A seasoned sales executive who is strategically minded yet action biased.
This role is based in Wadeville.
