Sales Development Representative (high Volume Telesales)

Job Description

This role sits within GOTO Group SA, providing dedicated outbound sales support to one of our UK-based client partners.

This is a pure, high-volume telesales role. It will suit someone who understands that success comes from consistency, resilience, and effort. You will be working large lead lists, making a very high number of outbound calls daily, handling rejection, and pushing through until you get results.

If you are comfortable spending most of your day on the phone, understand that "no" is part of the process, and can keep going when things get tough, this role will suit you well.

Key Responsibilities

Make high-volume outbound calls daily using a dialler and lead lists Work through large volumes of cold and warm leads consistently Qualify prospects and identify genuine opportunities for our client Book meetings or pass qualified opportunities to senior sales teams Handle rejection professionally and continue calling without losing momentum Follow set call structures, scripts, and objection-handling frameworks Accurately log call outcomes and activity on the CRM Meet and work towards daily, weekly, and monthly call and conversion targets Take ownership of your pipeline and results Maintain a strong work ethic and disciplined calling routine
This Role Is For Someone Who:

Is comfortable with repetitive, phone-based work Understands that results come from volume, persistence, and consistency Can stay motivated even when conversion rates are low Is happy to "graft" and put the work in daily Takes initiative and doesn't need constant supervision
Key Skills & Experience

Minimum 2-3 years telesales or outbound call centre experience Proven experience in high-volume outbound calling Thick-skinned, resilient, and able to handle frequent rejection Confident phone manner with clear communication skills Target-driven and motivated by performance Organised, with basic CRM or dialler experience Previous UK market experience is advantageous but not essential
Salary & Benefits

Basic salary up to R25,000, dependent on experience Uncapped commission Transport allowance Post-probation benefits
