Sales Coordinator

Job Description


We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Coordinator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support marketing initiatives and contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to the National Marketing and Sales manager in respect of quotations, file preparation, security templates, bond instructions and other marketing administration activities
  • Following up with referrals and meeting with prospective clients
  • Using initiative to create new leads and possible new business
  • Attend meetings with prospects and use selling skills to create new business and new clients where applicable
  • Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management
  • Assistance in connecting with prospective customers to understand their business and gather appropriate financial and AR related information
  • Analyzing prospective clients needs to propose and close appropriate factoring and lending facilities
  • Preparation of various monthly marketing reports based on results and new business
  • Ensure that all reports are issued timely and accurately
  • Prepare presentations for Senior Management and the Directors when needed
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 Certificate or higher diploma in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills, to effectively convey ideas and messages
  • Well-developed creativity skills to contribute to marketing content and campaign development
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, analyze market trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Familiarity with a business-to-business (B2B) environment and understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Basic knowledge of finance or accounting, with an understanding of financial terminology (not extensive)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for document creation and data analysis
  • Familiarity with communication platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, or other media interfaces for video conferences
  • Own transport is essential
  • Familiarity with MS Teams, ZOOM or any other media interface for video conferences
