Role Purpose
Manage and grow newly acquired accounts through efficient hire-desk sales, ensuring smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
Organisational Positioning
Reports to: Sales Manager
Direct Reports: Administrator: Invoicing; Administrator: Hire Desk.
Key Interfaces: Operations, Finance, Logistics, Customers
Key Responsibilities
Manage hire desk sales and ensure accurate order processing.
Grow new accounts through calling the 12 months non-active customer base.
Onboarding of new customers through the Accounts Receivables process.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Coordinate equipment availability and delivery with operations.
Ensure timely invoice and contract administration.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and upselling.
Functional Competencies
Knowledge of hire desk operations and rental processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
Product catalog and machine application knowledge of all Eazi's OEM brands.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Customer Response Time: under 2 hours for all queries.
2. Revenue Growth: Achieve monthly hire revenue targets.
3. Quote Conversion: Maintain 30% quote conversion rate.
4. Mine and Convert Web Leads: 8% quote conversion rate.
5. lost customers - outbound 5% quote conversion rate.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum: Grade 12 with 3 + years in hire desk or sales.
Recommended: Post Matric qualification in Sales or Marketing.
Experience: Proven track record in sales and customer service.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure adherence to company credit policies, asset management protocols, and relevant health and safety regulations.
