Job Summary The Sales and Marketing Manager must have experience in Fabrication and Engineering. Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Matric / Grade 12 or N3
Diploma or Degree (Marketing or BCom)
Technical qualification would be advantageous
10 years' experience in Fabrication and Engineering
Sales driven personality
Proven track record of sales strategy development and implementation
Ability to work to- and report on goals and targets
Proven track record of managing a sales team. Motivating and mentoring the team members to perform at the best of their ability.
Ability to prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic change recommendations based on data and trends
Ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously and work to tight deadlines
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a sales strategy with the EXCO team that expands the companys customer base, builds existing client relationships and drives company growth
Successfully manage the Sales team, mentoring and developing them to achieve the goals set out in the strategy.
Maintain close interface with the estimating department, ensuring that they estimating team understands the key selling points of each enquiry.
Undertake a needs analysis on each client enquiry, carrying the ability to segregate budget enquiries from real project opportunities.
Manage Sales team and report back to management weekly and monthly to the EXCO. Assist sales team with the weekly Sales
planning. * Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Identify competition and/or market trends and adapt the Sales strategy
to be successful * Cold calling, client meetings and development of the client base
Present company to clients on a formal or informal basis,
Follow the developed Sales Journey to ensure that enquiries are approached correctly and that company stands the best chance possible of securing the project order
Assist in generating client quotations and present the solution to the client addressing the clients specific key selling points
Negotiating tender and contract terms.
Negotiating and closing deals
Recording and maintaining client enquiries, status of enquiries, strategies on closing deals, successful sales and all contact data.
Co-ordinating sales projects, roadshows and initiatives, attending trade shows and other potential marketing events.
Manage company Linkedin Profile posting regularly on company achievements
and service offerings * Manage Company Website
