Job Title: Sales and Marketing Intern
Location: Woodmead, Johannesburg
Program Duration: This internship is a 12-month program starting 1 April 2026.
Eligibility: This internship is open to graduates who have not previously participated in an internship or held a permanent role for over 12 months.

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Intern to join our field engagement and marketing department. This role will provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals of contributing to the sales pipeline. The intern will help drive Oracle's business objectives through integrated marketing campaigns aligned with globally defined priorities, strategies, and programs. You will be responsible for executing marketing plans that uphold global strategic guidance while managing administrative duties related to developing and implementing marketing strategies and initiatives.
What you will do
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of integrated marketing plans that align with targeted business outcomes.
  • Ensure event or campaign delivery is consistent with the marketing plan.
  • Create reports and analyses of customer lead metrics to identify opportunities for improving customer engagement, in collaboration with sales and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze marketing performance and spend reports, extracting insights and interpreting the business implications of results to report findings to stakeholders.
  • Attend regular sales meetings and take notes on action items for the Field Engagement and Marketing team.
  • Support the implementation of tactical field engagement and demand generation marketing programs alongside Sales, EMEA Events marketing, Channel marketing, and Technical Experts/engineers.
  • Provide on-site support for marketing programs, events, and initiatives that drive demand.
  • Assist Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in tracking lead flow to ensure timely follow-up with event attendees and campaign responders.
  • Support management with campaign preparation and reporting.
  • Collect performance metrics to measure the progress of marketing initiatives and their contributions to the sales pipeline.
  • Analyze marketing data and reports.
  • Develop and distribute field engagement and marketing communication updates to sales and stakeholders.

  • Desirable Qualification: BCom in Marketing Management
