Job overview
My client, a Proudly South African manufacturer of specialised branding for clothing, footwear and promotional items, is looking for an experienced Sales and Administration Clerk to join their team.
Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to)

• General administration duties as required, filing, invoicing, calls to clients, communication with clients re orders, deliveries, filing, answering of telephone calls, etc.
• Creating of Purchase Orders, quotations and invoicing in Xero accounting package
• Following up on payments (Debtors)
• Contact retailers re orders/stock
• Creating, updating and maintaining records and databases
• Record keeping of meetings
• Sending emails, answer queries from employees, clients and suppliers
• Deal with clients on all levels
• Opening/closing duties
• Operational duties
• Production scheduling - work allocation and control orders in and out of the factory
• Weekly wages: checking clocking records and recording hours on wage software package

Knowledge, skills, and experience required
Educational Background

• Proven work experience as an Administration Clerk essential
• Minimum Grade 12
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Afrikaans & English
• Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, Outlook & Microsoft teams
• Basic accounting on Xero accounting package is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills
• Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude

Salary:
Market related
Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 07:45 to 16:45 Fri 07:45 to 15:30
