Sales Administrator

Job Description

A well established company based in the West Rand, requires an Afrikaans speaking, proactive and self motivated Sales Administrator:
DUTIES:

  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries professionally and effectively via telephone and email, including the preparation of quotations and pro-forma invoices
  • Accurate processing of sales orders received by email
  • Address customer complaints and issues promptly, working to identify solutions that ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and issue delivery documentation such as delivery notes and dangerous goods declarations
  • Invoicing, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders and sending them by email to customers
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the procurement and production teams to coordinate the timely delivery /collection of products
  • Assist with all other administrative tasks including verification & compliance of signed delivery notes from the dispatch warehouse, filing, and other general office related duties
REQUIREMENTS:
  • National Senior Certificate (Matric) OR Equivalent. Higher education in Business preferred:
  • Administration, or a related field highly advantageous
  • Experience: 13 years in a sales support, sales administration or customer service role
  • Skills: Microsoft Office compulsory, especially Excel (Vlook ups, using conversions from kgs to tons) as an e, Word, and Outlook. ERP Systems (optional) - Knowledge of systems like SYSPRO/SAP will be a plus for a successful candidate.
