Come join the iOCO family and become part of our amazing team as a Sales Account Manager.xc3x82 We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, propose solutions, and achieve sales targets.

Essential Qualification:

  • Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Further management studies are in process or completed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NDip (Diploma) in Engineering or Computer and Information Science, minimum
Additional Sales Training, diploma, and/or certificate(s) will be advantages.

Essential Functions/ :
  • Solution selling in various business sectors of Digital Industries and Processes.
  • Automation Solutions specifically in South, East, and West Africa.
  • Client Meetings and Engagement.
  • Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce) lead and Opportunity management.
  • Building and executing Account Plans.
  • Managing own performance of forecasting and budgets vs actuals.
  • Company presentations and software technology presentations.
  • Prepare formal quotations and proposals.
  • Achieve BU sales targets.
  • Cross Sell Digital Industries solutions.
  • Maintain excellent customer and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain a high level of competency in the products that you specialize in.
  • Research and introduce new technologies for all employees and management.
  • Assist with marketing activities like Conferences, Breakfasts, Golf Days, etcxc3xa2xe2x82xacxc2xa6
  • Prepare and present the Process Automation Solutions products at marketing events.
  • Adhere to the relevant ISO procedures and policies.
Experience required
  • At least 5 years experience in solution selling and customer-facing skill set.
  • Product-specific training/certifications on Schneider Electric and/or Rockwell Automation solutions.
  • Good knowledge and experience in the operational technology domain and in industry-type solution selling.
  • Oil Gas, Mining Cement, Automotive, Food Beverage.
Work environment:
  • Permanent position.
  • Travel: Yes, 80% of the normal business week.
  • Position type and expected hours of work: Office bound and traveling, 08:00 xc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x80x9c 17:00, Normal business hours.
  • Location: Gauteng, office-bound and traveling.
  • Frequent customer visits presentations. (80% travel, 20% office bound.)
