Job Description
RPO Recruitments client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Safety Officer in Steelpoort, Limpopo.
Responsibilities:
- Safety inspection , audits and risk initiatives.
- Implement and ensure maintenance of safety systems, standards and procedures.
- Safety audit report and safety inspection reports.
- Incidents investigations, inquiries and accidents / incidents reports
- Legal compliance audits, audits reports and analysis reports.
- Accidents control register and Safety statistics database
- Monitoring of emergency preparedness programmes
- Grade 12
- Engineering Trade certificate
- Diploma in Safety Management
- 7 years mining or plant experience as an Artisan/ Foreman
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSASA18001
- Salary: R650K/yr - R850K/yr, salary negotiable
- Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
- Training & Development
- Salary: negotiable.
