Roofbolt Operator
Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Roofbolter Operator
The Roofbolter Operator is responsible to operate a mobile mechanized roofbolter underground to the required mining and safety standards.
Drill and install roofbolts as per the code of practice.
Grade 12 certificate
Competent "B" in mining education
Certificate of Fitness
Dover psychometric test successfully completed
Understanding & application of Health & Safety Principles
Minimum of 2-year experience with operating equipment in the mining industry
Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
High proficiency in English language (understand, speak, read and write).
Valid driving license Code 10

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: R65,00 - R70,00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
