Our client a specialist in the Pharmaceutical industry based in Salt River in Cape Town
The Role: Dispensary Operator
Location: Salt River, Cape Town
The primary purpose of the role is the weighing & Blending of raw materials according to the batch sheet, and compliance with company SOPs, GMP and food safety standards.
Minimum qualification required:
Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science advantages
Must have a clear criminal record.
People skills:

Key Responsibilities:
Basic Operations

• Weighing of raw materials according to batch sheet to correct method as described in the SOP to ensure consistent quality of the product
• Blending according to the batch sheet with accurate calculations and measurement.
• Report any problems with processes, environment, maintenance, mechanical faults and changes
• Careful use of equipment for intended purpose
• Complete batch sheets and ensure all fields are accurately completed
• Equipment and area well maintained and cleaning register completed at the end of each batch
• Assist in stock taking and supporting stock accuracy

Health & Safety Standards

• Hazardous situations are reported or resolved immediately
• Incidents /accidents are prevented by correctly operating equipment and following health and safety procedures as laid down by legislation and company policy
• Responsible for maintaining the facility in a clean and tidy state at all times, following approved and validated cleaning procedures.
• Deviations from the procedures will have a negative impact on the GMP standard of the of the facility
• Uphold company policies, with specific reference (but not exclusive to) to personal hygiene, personal protective equipment and cleaning procedures
• It is the responsibility of each employee to ensure quality of work at each step within the process, preceding and after the step that the employee is performing

• Performing the above tasks in such a manner as to preserve and protect yourself, co-workers, the machinery employed and the integrity of the product throughout
