Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Roof Sheeting and Cladding Draughtsman who is proficient on some form of design software such as Revit, Tesla or the likes to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed construction and manufacturing drawings, designs for flashings and related items, as well as material ordering schedules for sheeting and cladding on various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

- Produce accurate and detailed drawings for roof sheeting, cladding, gutters and flashing installations

- Design flashings, gutters, and other related items

- Develop and maintain project drawings and documentation

- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure accurate material ordering

- Conduct site visits to verify measurements and ensure accuracy

- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations

- Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in roof sheeting and cladding drafting

- ?Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Software

- Strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Relevant qualifications in drafting or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with material ordering and procurement

- Knowledge of building codes and regulations

- Familiarity with construction project management software

- ?Diploma or higher qualification in Draughting
