We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Centurion!
Role: Roads Engineer
Industry: Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Development
Level: Intermediate (5+ years experience)
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's or B-Tech Degree in Civil Engineering
5 years of experience in roads and transportation engineering
Strong knowledge of road design, rehabilitation, and maintenance
Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar)
Experience in contract documentation, project planning, and site supervision
Ability to manage projects from feasibility to implementation
Knowledge of relevant municipal and national road standards and regulations
Strong technical report writing and problem-solving skills
Experience in liaising with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
Personal Attributes:
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Proactive and able to work independently
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
