We are looking for passionate and driven graduates to join our 2026 Human Resource Graduate Programme. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow within a global leader in the mining and metals industry.
We welcome applications from individuals who have graduated in 2024 or 2025 or will graduate by March 2026.

Our Graduate Program offer you the chance to help shape Rio Tinto from within. The Graduate Program extends over two years, focusing on developing both foundational and future-focused skill.
Eligibility:
Academic Qualifications: A completed or in-progress BCom or BBA degree in Human resources management or Industrial Psychology, with a graduation date in 2024, 2025, or by March 2026.
Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
Work Experience: No prior work experience required.
Graduate Programme Status: Must not be currently enrolled in or have previously participated in a graduate programme.
The following information must accompany your application:
A complete academic record, starting from first year of study.
A certified copy of a South African Identity Document.
A certified copy of a valid South African Driver's Licence.
Certified copies of all relevant qualifications.
NB: RBM will prioritize suitably qualified applicants from designated groups (e.g. Women and people with disabilities) where there is under-representation.
Where you'll be working
Richards Bay Minerals (RBM) is a world leader in heavy mineral sands extraction and refining and is South Africa's largest mineral sands producer. RBM produces predominantly ilmenite, rutile and zircon - materials used in everything from paint to smartphones to sunscreen.
